Responsibilities:

1. Candidate should have BS degree in Computer Science and have understanding of Software Engineering concepts.

2. Should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

3.  Understanding in performing software Quality Assurance activities and bugs tracking.

4. Understanding of testing methodologies and life cycles.

5. Understanding in writing test plans, testing procedures, test matrices, test data generation and execution of test plans.

6. Recreate reported defects in testing environments, and verify if issues are fixed.

7. Understanding of Software Development Documentations.

8. Writing test cases against requirements and executing them in a timely manner.

9. Understanding of Web based application and webservices and how they work.

10. Understanding of SoapUI or other similar testing tools is required.

11. Communicate with Business Analyst on the requirements and keeping them up to speed on the progress.

12. Monitor, manage and communicate with Business Analyst on defects.

13. Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans.

14. Be able to complete tasks in the timeframe.

15. Automation of test cases.

16. Able to handle projects individually and also able to work in a team.

17. Able to work on web, desktop and mobile applications.

18. Should be able to write queries against SQL Server databases.
