Job Description:

General Position Summary

Data Management Assistant will be responsible for management of data of the PPM project. Data Management Assistant will assist the Data Management Officer in routine review of supporting documents with Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs) and record keeping of hard and soft documents. S/he will work closely with Data Management Officer (DMO) in his/her routine tasks by providing support in consolidation of district wise data, and preparation of internal and external presentations. S/he will support the DMO, in reviewing the district wise data, identify issues and share with DMO and RCs.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain hard and soft records of the data received from the field on monthly basis
  • Ensure the quality of the hard and soft data
  • Review the supporting documents in hard and soft on monthly and quarterly basis in close coordination with DMO and RCs
  • Jointly with RCs and DMO, cross checking and validate the district wise data
  • Preparation of presentations for internal and external meetings
  • Maintain monthly meeting minutes
  • Will record and report the data correctly and completely on the prescribed formats and online MIS and submit timely to the Data Management Officer/ as guided.
  • Work closely with Data Management Officer to generate monthly and quarterly reports from the database/MIS
  • Collect and report age and sex disaggregated data on quarterly basis for submission to the PR    
  • Ensure implementation of SR policies and procedures at all levels
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor or PM

Reports Directly To: Data Management Officer

Works Directly With: Regional Coordinators, Project Assistants, Project Manager, PR unit Data Management Unit

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelors in  IT/social sciences preferably Masters
  • 2 years of relevant work experience with national and International NGOs in M&E and data management, work experience with Global Fund grant will be a plus
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Urdu and Punjabi will be a plus
  • Advance computer skills including MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent communication skills. Team   members are expected   to conduct   themselves in aprofessional manner and respect local laws, customs and MC's policies, procedures, and values at all times and in all in-country venues
  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest in Safeguarding, and a sensitivity to cultural   diversity, equity, inclusion and gender issues
