The Division

Covering fixed route, rail, paratransit, demand response and more, our advanced intelligent transportation systems (ITS), Automated Fare Collection (AFC) and mobile technologies help transit organizations across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific strengthen efficiencies, increase ridership, improve service and gain return on investment. This position reports into the Trapeze North America ATC business unit.
The Position:
The division is looking for a Senior Software Developer to work out of the Contour Software Lahore office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team, located onshore.
Following will be part of this job;
- Web Portal development for Agency and Customer Service support
- Basic reports for fare collections on key components of our Fare Collection Solution
- Ad-hoc reports and dashboard report for business analysis
- Admin features for ongoing and future projects
- Back Office build process and installer
Required Experience & skills:
- BS Computer Science degree from a reputable institute/college/university

5 to 10 years’ proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, HTML5 and JavaScript in Web application development
- Strong experience with Windows technology stack, including WCF, WPF, MVC, and Entity Framework, Node.js
- MS SQL development experience
- Strong experiences in multi-tier architecture applications and in-depth knowledge of object-oriented programing and design patterns
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Methodologies
- Strong problem solving skills; Self-motivated and innovative team player.
- Effective (English) verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and communicate requirements and progress to colleagues and managers
- Demonstrate willingness to learn, research new techniques in relation to the profession of Database Administration
- Ability to work independently
