Division:

With headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, POMS was founded in 1987. POMS provides web-based production management control system, consulting and project management services to large Pharmaceutical and Biologics Corporations. POMS systems eliminate errors and minimize incidents to help make products right the first time and reduce compliance efforts. POMS is a division of Constellation’s CHS operating group, occupying the Manufacturing Execution Systems software space.

Position:

The qualified candidate will be responsible for writing technical as well as user documentation.Initial responsibilities will include performing documentation tasks for the Manufacturing Execution System, and its various modules, for ongoing releases and patches. This will require increasing amounts of interaction with the R&D team in Virginia, as well as in the local office.

This opportunity will expose the individual to a leading Manufacturing Execution System used by large Pharmaceutical and Biologics corporations.

The ability to learn and become an expert on the product will require a self-starter; a person who can take provided materials and input, and work on their own in order to learn an application and industry domain, with minimal supervision.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and possess the ability to fulfill the specified requirements, this role is a great fit for you!

Required Experience & Skills:

· Minimum 3 years experience of technical writing.

. The ability to write technical and end-user product documentation

· Expert-level capabilities in MS Word & Robo Help

· The ability to learn and explain software in written form

· Excellent written English capabilities

· Strong verbal communication skills, as a great amount of interaction with North American Team members would be necessary.

· A self-starter attitude
