| Job Description: |
ASSIGNMENT:
Under the supervision of the Project Manager (PM) the Community Mobilizer is responsible for supporting the implementation of all interventions matching with organization quality criteria and strategy, and for developing open, mutually respectful, and accountable relationships with the target communities.
He / She is fully responsible of his / her activities in terms of quality and dead line.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities :
- Implementation of Mobilization Activities
- Participates in need assessments, Participatory Rural Appraisals, feasibility studies, stakeholder analyses and community consultations;
- Liaises with Governmental and non Governmental Agencies and other stakeholders;
- Supports the development of Contract agreements with Community Organizations, Parents Teacher Associations and with individuals as and when required;
- Elaborate all needs based inputs and all other activities according to the objectives of the project and the learner’s involvement strategy of organization.
- Mobilizes the community and support.
- Represent organization in centers on daily basis with on spot support to teachers to achieve good quality target;
- Guide and support for organizing events as and when celebrated;
- Ensure, through daily dialogues and consultations that the strategy of the projects and the commitments of the various stakeholders are adhered to.
- Responsible for mainstreaming gender and other protection policies;
- Maximize learners involvement and benefits as per organization project guidelines;
- Supports in the development of IEC materials for all activities implemented on need basis;
- The Community Mobilizers should develop in-depth knowledge of all their villages of intervention and should have close contacts with community leaders, volunteers, and activists;
- Providing technical guidance, training and support to individuals targeted by each project in line with the project strategy and intended outputs;
- Ensure on time completion of the tasks in line with BoQs and designs;
- Liaising with program staff of other organization teams to ensure that information is shared and that lessons learned are developed; and
- Supervise the unloading of the material on site as well as keep check on all assets for both quality and quantity and ensure visibility of the project as per donor guidelines.
- Documentation
- Check & control daily attendance sheet on daily basis;
- Centre progress and monitoring reports on daily/ weekly basis;
- Support IP and organization to maintain all documentation as required by SOPs;
