COMSATS Internet Services (CIS), Pakistan's pioneer ISP, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates, for appointment on contract basis against the post of Linux System Administrator for Islamabad Office. Details of the position and placement is as under.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery methods and procedures.
- Iptables, DNS, SMTP, apache, SSH, SSL, FTP
- Storage technologies such as SAN, NAS and concepts of RAID levels.
- File system management of EXT3/4, NFS, iSCSI, XFS, and LVM.
- VMWare ESX virtual environments
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) will be preferred.
- Linux shell scripting
