Job Description:

Assignment

The Finance Intern will work under the direct supervision of the Finance Manager and has a functional link with the Country Finance Manager. The finance intern is responsible for the financial filling, documentation and information Management for the Finance office in Islamabad according to ACTED guidelines.

 

Responsibilities General

-       The finance intern is responsible for the correct documentation and filing in the area.

-       Respect the financial and accounting procedures of ACTED Pakistan;

-       Ensure an efficient flow of information with the Finance Manager and CFM.

-       Support activities of the financial team and analyze that financial procedures are followed by all relevant departments especially regarding contracts and payments;

-       Ensure that proof of purchase is valid (contracts, orders, bills, invoices etc.)

-       Ensure that all information is updated, validated and available.

Accounting and Financial Management

-       Assist in the creation of reports and management of information within the country operations.

-       Support in analysis of running cost and allocation of sub bases.

-       On weekly basis update the financial coverage analysis of projects.

-       Provide approved information to different departments.

-       Update the information server on weekly basis and assure the most efficient documents organization.

 

General FLAT responsibilities

 

-       Ensure that Log/HR procedures are respected (Procurement, Contract follow-up, payroll…) at the area level;

Social cohesion is a key component to ensuring equitable service provision. ACTED’s interventions include the establishment of local representation bodies as well as supporting the rights of women, minorities and marginalized groups;
