A leading Karachi based Freight Forwarding Company is looking for an experienced Sea Freight Opertions Executive for its Lahore office who can run day to day operations smoothly. This position will be responsible for managing all Air/Sea Freight Export and Import, Customs Brokerage & Overland related activities and documentation including sales and customer relationships prospecting and landing new business with primary focus on import/export business.

The candidate must possess at least 3-5 years’ experience in logistics and freight forwarding industry. Salary package will be decided upon interview as per candidate profile and experience. Only shipping and freight forwarding industry professionals will be considered for the subject position.

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics/shipping industry; regarding Ocean and custom clearance Services
• Book a shipment, prepare documentation, print bills of lading, check sailing schedules, track your shipment, get invoices and statements
• Complete knowledge of Documentation of Imports and Exports Shipments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively
• Dealing with Banks, Clearing Agents, Transporter, Customs, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders and other relevant government and non-government Departments for all imports/ Exports Consignment
• Tracking and update customers regarding their consignments
• Submit quotations/bids to potential customers fast and on time
• Respond to sales inquiries
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills
