| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
Submit dental insurance claims electronically and by paper. Review treatment plans for proper coding and documentation. Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits. Follow up on unpaid claims and resubmit when necessary. Post insurance payments and reconcile patient accounts. Assist patients with billing questions and collect co-payments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred. Basic knowledge of dental codes (ADA CDT codes). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus. |
